Privacy Policy

Vierto s.r.o., Company ID: 21455589, registered at Jugoslávská 1006/26, 741 01 Nový Jičín, Czech Republic (hereinafter referred to as the "Controller"), hereby informs users of the RodRecall mobile application about the processing of their personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and other applicable legislation.

1. What Data We Process

  • Contact data: such as your email address, if you contact us with a question or request.
  • Technical data: device type, operating system, app version, crash logs (only in the event of an app crash).
  • User data: data entered by you (e.g. catches, locations, notes) is stored only on your device – it is not transmitted to our servers.

2. Purpose of Processing

We process your data only to the extent necessary for:

  • providing technical support,
  • responding to your questions and issues,
  • improving the app’s stability, security, and functionality,
  • complying with legal obligations (e.g. maintaining support records).

3. Legal Basis for Processing

  • Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) – e.g. providing user support.
  • Legitimate interest of the Controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) – e.g. app diagnostics and functionality.
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) – e.g. if you voluntarily provide personal data via email communication.

4. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the stated purpose, but no longer than 3 years from the last communication unless a longer retention period is required by law (e.g. accounting or legal obligations).

5. Data Recipients

Your personal data may be processed to a limited extent by the following recipients:

  • providers of hosting and email services,
  • providers of analytics and diagnostic tools (e.g. Google Crashlytics, Firebase),
  • technical support or contracted partners, if necessary to handle your request.

We do not transfer your data outside the EU. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Analytics and Diagnostics

The app may use third-party tools to anonymously monitor performance and stability (e.g. crash reports). These tools do not collect personal data such as your name, email address, or IP address and are used solely to improve the app.

7. Data Subject Rights

You have the right to request at any time:

  • access to your personal data,
  • rectification of inaccurate data,
  • erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten"),
  • restriction of processing,
  • data portability,
  • to object to processing,
  • to file a complaint with the supervisory authority – The Office for Personal Data Protection (Czech Republic).

8. Data Security

All data is protected using appropriate technical and organizational measures. Only the Controller and authorized personnel have access to the data, and only to the extent necessary. We do not share your data with third parties without a legal basis.

9. Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page with the effective date listed. We recommend checking periodically for any updates.
